Planner Samantha Wiser of Seamless Planning envisioned a celebration that stepped outside the traditional Midwest wedding aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the immersive, themed events gaining popularity across Europe. "I wanted to create something that felt different from what we traditionally see in the Midwest wedding space," she shares. "The overall concept was to bring in a funky, editorial energy without losing the sophistication of a wedding day." Samantha collaborated closely with our incredibly talented team, encouraging each vendor to put their own artistic spin on the vision—even sourcing 100 tennis balls from Facebook Marketplace to complete the playful theme! The result was a vibrant editorial that proves weddings can be elevated, stylish and full of personality all at once. Samantha explains, "One of the biggest things I hope couples take away from this shoot is the reminder that when you hire vendors you genuinely trust and allow them creative freedom within your vision, the end result can become something even better than you originally imagined."

Planner Ritz Mejia of Wonderfully Made envisioned "a wedding day that celebrated soft spring colors, intentional details and the feeling of stepping into a blooming European-inspired garden without ever leaving the mansion." A palette of buttercream yellow, soft peach, ivory and dusty blue brought warmth and freshness to the design, while editorial styling, garden-inspired florals, intentional color layering and elevated tablescapes added depth and sophistication. Though current trends influenced the overall aesthetic, Ritz notes that the team sought to interpret them "through a classic and enduring lens," resulting in a romantic atmosphere that balanced the grandeur of the space with an intimate, cohesive feel!

Drawing inspiration from an enchanting evening abroad, she adds, “In my heart, I was picturing a cinematic and deeply romantic scene, like stepping into a private, candlelit evening in Florence, but set within Indianapolis.” Referred to as “Modern Elegance,” the shoot's design embraced the essence of quiet luxury through tonal palettes, glowing details and immersive guest experiences—resulting in a celebration that feels effortlessly elevated and undeniably timeless!
